This laboratory is used for the development of mobile and desktop-based games. To enhance the interactivity of students\' works, UMN provides input devices based on motion sensor recognition, such as Leap Motion for hand gestures, Kinect V2 for full-body motion, and a head-mounted VR headset (Oculus Rift) equipped with hand-tracking technology. Not only does this lab have supporting hardware technology, but it also includes software for developing digital gaming content, such as game engines, sound and graphics editing software.
